STAMFORD, Conn. and BURBANK, Calif. – Charter Communications, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company declared that ESPN+ is now available to Spectrum TV Select Plus customers for no extra fee. At the same time, the industry’s leading distribution agreement signed in 2024 can still prepare users’ benefits by allowing streaming apps to be part of the traditional Spectrum TV bundle packages.
The activation by Charter of its ESPN+ direct-to-consumer inclusion offer ensures that qualified Spectrum video customers can immediately start streaming hundreds of hours of live sporting events and original content using the Xumo Stream Box or any other ESPN+-supported device. The launch of ESPN+, which costs $10.99 monthly, follows Charter. The Walt Disney Company released the Disney+ Basic streaming app in January, opening it to every Spectrum TV Select customer nationwide without cost.

When you sign up and have completed the setup process and account setup, you will receive an email containing details on handling your current subscription. The Disney Bundle will continue to bill you for your current subscription in Disney Bundle until you follow the instructions in that email. Disney Bundle until you follow the directions in the email.
If you have been charged for the subscription to the Disney Bundle through Hulu, this promotion will only gradually replace your subscription. When you sign up and have completed the account setup for each of the services, your Hulu account will be credited with the $18.99/month credit (or the amount equivalent to the current retail price of the Disney Bundle) while you have an active subscription to that Disney Bundle through Verizon. If you are not directed otherwise, remember that to be eligible for any credit, current customers must set up their Hulu account using the link supplied through Disney+.
