The first step is to contemplate how you intend to establish your sources. If the sources you cite are relevant to your concepts, including the source and mentioning it in a paragraph that begins the source is essential. If you’re using the source for an unimportant point, consider footnotes pa, parenthetical references, or even endnotes.
There are various forms of citations for different fields. For example, if you refer to sources in the field of psychology, you will likely use a different citation style than when writing a piece to be used in the English course.

Overview
A proper citation to sources involves two steps. First, you must cite every source within the body of your essay. Citations within your essay are known as in-text references. Locating the Sources in the body of your paper

The authors should be recognized as economists, artists and physicists. If you cannot find much about the person who wrote it or their work and cannot see details, you should state where you came across the source and what made you believe it’s reliable and worthy of citation. If you’ve introduced the author and the source you’re using in your article and are using the same source and author, it is probably okay to do so again. Suppose you’ve referenced other sources only to return to the source you previously cited. In that case, it is an excellent suggestion to mention the author’s name (and the source if you’ve noted it several times by this author) to prevent confusion.

Direct Quotation of the Author In the Text.

Paraphrase with 1 Author

Be aware that for paraphrases, pages are recommended; however, they are unnecessary.
Paraphrases with more than 3 Authors
In the process of resolving the problem of violence within prisons, we must first identify the factors that could be connected to prisoner violence (Thomson and Co. 20,19).
Direct Quotation, without Author
The results were shocking “in an upcoming study on the relationship between adult children and parents” (“Parents and their Children”, 2007 p. 2.).
Note: Because the source of the text isn’t specified, a shorter form of the text can be employed instead.
Secondary Sources
In the case of secondary sources, make use of the phrase “as as cited in” and reference the source of the second on the page for references.
In 1936, Keynes declared that “governments need to run deficits when the economy is stagnant to avoid unemployment” (as mentioned in Richardson 2008, p. 257).
Long (Block) Quotes
Direct quotations from at least 40 words make indentation five spaces in the left margin, without quotation marks. The closing period should be placed before the parenthetical citation.
At Meramec, the Meramec English department policy reads:
To protect and honour the work of their own and their peers, students must credit exclusive sources used to complete their coursework. The assumption is that information not recorded is generally known in that area or is the student’s research. (St. Missouri Community College, 2001 Page. 1.)
Website Citations
You must include your name when citing a particular web document without the page number. This person wrote it, the date and date of publication, as well as the title, page number, paragraph, and page number within parentheses:
